Sleep & Insomnia
Sleep and insomnia research in Flowood, Mississippi
Sleep problems rarely stay in the bedroom. They show up in mood, focus, and health. Our team studies insomnia and other sleep disorders in adults, including sleep problems that come with another mental health condition.
What our Sleep & Insomnia research looks at
- Trouble falling asleep and staying asleep
- Waking too early and daytime fatigue
- Sleep problems alongside depression, anxiety, or PTSD
- Sleep that has not improved with current treatment
Who may be a fit
- Poor sleep has been a pattern for weeks or months
- It affects your mood, focus, or safety during the day
- You can come to our Flowood office for scheduled visits
Each study has its own requirements. A coordinator reviews eligibility with you personally, by phone or in person at our Flowood office.
What taking part involves
Every study we run is reviewed and approved by an independent Institutional Review Board. Taking part is voluntary and you may stop at any time. Study visits, assessments, and study medication are provided at no cost, insurance is not required, and compensation for time and travel is provided. Before you decide anything, you receive an informed consent document that explains the study, the possible risks, and your rights, and you can take it home to think it over.
